It's been really busy over the last few days and I have finally been given a cold/flu! Anyway, that's why the nettle beer recipe is a day late.
I had one of my usual friends follow me whilst taking the pictures for the nettle beer recipe. This just goes to show you don't always need a super telephoto lens to take close up shots of some birds. I used field craft to creep up on this little chap and managed to get these shots using a 105mm Macro lens. I was about 6 inches away from him.
I hope you like him! I now have to go and write an article on wild food at Christmas, so I will post back again when it's out.
