It snowed most of yesterday and all through the night here in Essex. After work I took a midnight walk, in almost blizzard-like conditions. I was only out for 20 minutes, but when I got back I had the face of someone who had just reached the summit of Mount Everest, ice clinging to my face and cloths, making me look rather festive indeed.
My Saint Bernard was quite at home, but still panting from his super thick coat, he spent most of the time eating his way through the snow (maybe classed as a wild food?).
The snow is beginning to melt slightly now, but more is expected today and over the weekend.
I know it was only short, but until I get a bit more time that’s it for today. I will try and post again before Christmas, but if not, I wish you a lovely time and a fantastic New Year.
Catch you on the trail
Kris
